Privacy and Information Security

Even beyond our legal obligations, we take the principles of data protection and information security very seriously. As a result, we have a long history of engagement with these subjects and have adopted a set of principles to hold ourselves to the highest standards. Naturally, we collect and process your personal data only in line with the relevant legal prescriptions, in particular the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We have also implemented a number of internal measures and issued a set of information security guidelines to guarantee that your data will be handled securely and reliably.

Data protection and the EU GDPR

The EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – a European Union regulation on the protection of personal data – came into force on 25 May 2018.

Kendox AG expressly commits to complying with GDPR and additional country-specific conditions of data protection. In doing so, we aim to expressly underscore for our partners and customers our high standards in the field of data protection.

As an independent point of contact in matters of data protection, we have appointed an external data protection officer.

The data protection officer for Kendox AG and for Kendox GmbH (Germany) is:

Herr Dr. Christian Schäfer
Active Assets A2 GmbH
Gottlieb-Daimler-Str. 5

We also hereby note that Switzerland (the home of Kendox AG) has been recognised by the EU Commission as a secure third country in matters of data protection.
